Clara Elena Restrepo was born in Medellín, Colombia. She studied Social Communication and lived abroad for 14 years. Upon returning to Colombia, she decided to change her life and, following her artistic sensibility, she began experimenting with natural materials and transforming existing objects. The idea was born from being able to look at the country from the outside with all its richness of colors, textures and natural materials, which allowed her to see, with new eyes, objects that seemed everyday.
Kongolo
Design workshop founded in 2001 and located in Bogota, Colombia. It is dedicated to the design, production and marketing of decorative and utilitarian items, both for the national market and for export. Kongolo offers a wide collection of unique objects for their design and originality.
